This picturesque city that was designed by Christopher Columbus himself and his brother Bartholomew, on the admiral's second voyage, in 1496, and was then founded in 1502 by Fray Nicolás Ovando.
This approximately 2-hour walking tour covers the main sights of the city center accompanied by a local guide who will share fascinating stories of the city along the way while you take postcard-worthy photos.
In this 1.5-mile walk, you will also learn about the history, culture and people of this city that evolved with the influence of European immigrants.
